Lost. Found. And?


Cast your gaze upon today's explorer:
in mien and dress with little regard
for the respect and reverence
due his current location,
and totally lacking
any awareness
he's reclining
against the
distant
past.
Tut
or no,
craftsmanship
from ages past -
revealed as sun's fire
sets old stonework aglow,
so plainly seen in each seam
and wondrously aligned corner -
makes one look at him and then wonder:
how can one be so blind to hist'ry's light?
