20230217 Editing...

A week of full-on editing, turning a novel into a decently readable novel because a publisher wanted me to edit it myself and then resubmit it. No rewrites, just a complete edit. So I did.

This is the third edit, as it has had 2 beta readers resulting in the second edit, and I wondered what more I could do, but then I realised I'd sent the publisher my first edit, before it had been beta read, so the final version the publisher will get has been read and edited twice, and as such will be much better than the version they have. Thank goodness. It will look like I've worked hard to do this!

Editing is the thing I find second hardest to do when writing. Hardest? Synopsis writing, though that only counts for novels and novellas.

So, pure editing mode this past week. I hope the publisher likes it.
