This is a collection of poems told from fictional view points. They are not about me. |
Deep in the woods, where the sun barely reaches, lives a strange little community of bizarre and odd creatures. There are fairy sprites and unicorns, tiny dragons sized an inch, and the woods wizard, quite disguised, you'll see him if you squinch. They don't go to school, their lives are fairly free, but oh yes, they have rules there so no one's naughty, don't you see? They have their own court there, ruled over by a sprite. If anyone has a grumble, they can get it sorted right. The woods wizard, there's only one, is grumpy and quite old, especially grouchy when it rains or the weather turns too cold. There are often silly complaints heard about him in the court, but he'd just roll his eyes, mumble and then snort. He never laughed or smiled, never visited anyone. Never gave a gift or hug, grumbled at the rain and at the sun. But the truth is, he was lonely, he just wanted some attention. If someone wrote a poem, for example, he'd definitely want a mention!
