A poem a day for the month of April, National Poetry Writing Month |
| Today's Word is "Soup" The liquidy cuisine starts with boiling water and/or broth brewed by sucking the goodness from bones or fresh-picked veggies. Then choices are made of what to add, so many good foods can carry its theme. That's where the magic happens. Mostly served hot, sometimes cold. one simmers on my stove right now, sending a rich aroma wafting through my home. Later I'll ladle it into an earthenware bowl and serve me and whoever might happen by. Today I made one of my favorites, savory, spicy, garden-vegetable. Yum~ ~Judi Van Gorder Notes: ▶︎ |
