A poem a day for the month of April, National Poetry Writing Month |
| Forty Years in the Trenches When I started my agency my first goal was to make as much as I paid my employee. As such, I worked harder, no complacency. I learned clichés like, "bottom line" and "the buck stops here" go with the title, nothing to fear, "putting out fires", the daily grind. But for the freedom to soar, akin to the eagle's flight, I'd do it again. ~~Judi Van Gorder Notes ▶︎ |
