Southern Style Thanksgiving in Berkeley


My favorite holidays
Growing up in Berkeley
were Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Mom did a traditional Southern feast.
Full-roasted 20-pound Turkey, stuffing, southern-style greens,
Sweet potatoes with marshmallows, mashed potatoes, rhubarb pie
grits, bacon, ham, cranberry sauce, and pecan pie a la mode.
