IF NOT NOW --WHEN ???

Dec 6 only 3 days since being here with y'all!😉😻🐵

My it's Dec 8 th already?! 3 days since I said hey y'all! We've been going out on errands, mostly food shopping and looking for deals at thrift stores but none were out there. We tried Goodwill and Saint Vincent and American thrift man there was nothing to be found. Last year it was a different story but now it seems like people are keeping what they have, rather than buying much new stuff.
We were also looking for a Christmas 🎄 tree and hoping we could find something for a few bucks. A used one ( not even nice was 35 bucks and no lights on either).
Last week we bought a 5 buck lottery scratch off and hit 100 bucks! Found a nice one at Walmart for 40! It's white with blue lights on it! Of course got some food and kitty food.
The money doesn't go very far but even though we are having a small Christmas it will be nice 🙂. My sister turns the big 70 baby this weekend! ( I got her a Grateful Dead tee shirt from eBay!) When they started, they were selling five bucks tees in the parking lot! I got a good deal considering how much some of them are these days 😉.
We got some hanging lights today for the wall. They look like icicles and are blue! Tomorrow we pull out the Xmas ornaments and will decorate! Hanukah is tomorrow and have a small Menorah. I may add candles but in the face of the war and everything that is so terrible for all the people involved. I don't think I will light them. Things have changed so much since a few years ago, when pictures of us and the grandkids were celebrating. There's so much hate and ignorance in the world that prevents peace from happening. It for me and others make it hard to have faith.
I want good things for people and will continue to be who I am.
There's many good people who give me hope still.
Finally after nearly 2 years I'm not in the horrible pain now. I feel 10 years younger from the relief and will get back to ballet and writing more. That's a miracle in itself and though I can't control what happens in the world, I can take care of what I can, including myself! Thank you all for being there through this trip!
