Question

I was scooting along
singing the song
and blowing in the wind

when suddenly
it seemed to me
the answer travelled free

both it and I
did not ask why.

Note: I seem to have entered a minimalist period in my poetry, even down to the punctuation. It is such fun to be brief and to the point. Perhaps it’s just a phase and I’ll grow out of it…
