Friends
I've been having melt downs lately, I guess the grief of Dad's death is hitting.
The biggest blessing has been the number of people who have immediately understood and supported me.
Like for instance, I wasn't able to fill out a form today (in spite of enlarge photocopying it) and got upset. (For those who don't yet know, my eyesight is weak.)
Immediately, my neighbour came over and filled it out for me. What a blessing.
Then, on Jan 31, there was a lecture hosted by an advertising agency I worked for 30 years ago. I was iffy about whether I'd attend or not, because of these melt downs. Two friends urged me to do so, and I did.
It was a lovely evening. The lecture itself was great and the warmth of the people around -- including the owners of the agency who remember me and asked about my pursuits -- made me feel all fuzzy.
