"Opps yey!" A donor whispered to another donor.
Jane smiled, "Yes. It's true."
The donors had learned through snooping that the Senator
wanna be had had an abortion.
"Why not run as a Democrat or Independant?" a donor stammered.

"I have always been a Republican." Jane took a sip of soda.
"If I were a man... The question wouldn't be raised."
The donors started to leave the gala event.
"It is because I am a woman!" Jane affirmed...

Glen Beck and his ilk rambled on the radio.
They believed life began at conception.
A woman should be forced to give birth.
Abortion was only an option of last resort.

Jane Dow was a scarlet woman...
She would never be a Senator of any party.
