Portals to Other Universes

a paranormal researcher
From the Cosmos Institute
In Berkeley, California,

Went on an expedition
To the mysterious Mt Colombier
Deep in the Himalayas.

The rumors were
That there was a temple
That contained gateways
To other worlds.

They finally reached the mountain
And after an arduous journey
Came to an old Buddhist temple,

The wizen old monk
Was delighted to receive visitors
He had so few.

The local villagers considered
The mountain is cursed.

The monk confirmed
The gateway was real,
Revealing that he was an alien
Who had come through centuries ago.

He showed them the gate
which was a big red barn
at the other end waiting
other worlds.

He warned them

“few ever return
Enter at your own risk”,

They said,

"What the hell,"
ran through the red barn
And jumped through
the waiting gate.

And were never seen again
The temple also disappeared
As did the monk,

The villagers knew nothing
Considered part of the curse
Of Mt. Colombier.
