The Gospel of Jesus, The Christ

This Jesus once died, but never again.
He rose, and He's coming back soon!
My weary heart knows none Other can win.
He's coming morn, nighttime or noon.

Salvation is His. What good can I give?
I'm guilty before Holy God.
Believe The Good News. New strength I've to live.
His Name, That Alone we applaud!

This rapturous song one Day we will sing,
but not of our goodness, nor deeds.
My work is not whole. It's no gift I can bring.
Salvation's in Christ. This I read.

The hands of another my head turned to birth.
The Touch of The Lord my heart birthed anew.
The Name of This Christ is Almighty worth.
The Work of Salvation He's done. It's all through.

His death, burial, and resurrection,
The Gospel of Christ now complete.
His sinless Life, and all His Perfection.
In Him, God and Man can now meet.
