Peaceful Moments Rest

Sip the cup, and know some peace.
Moments like this, blest.
Joy in Christ, a full release.
In His Presence rest.

Sun comes through the window pane.
Front yard with no breeze,
peaceful moments without rain,
learning restful keys.

Coffee shop with bookstore grace,
moments now to write,
drinking in this wondrous place,
gift before the night.

Latte flavor was the best,
slowly drank the cup,
wondrous moments' peaceful rest,
heart's now looking up.

What will be the close of day?
What will be the night?
Hope in Christ I always pray
for all hearts made right.
