Avocado

Avocado

The avo is a funny fruit,
no sweet or juicy flesh to loot,
and tough its skin so hard to bare -
oh mighty alligator pear!

Instead it offers oily prize,
more tasty than you would surmise
and, given salt and pepper pure,
it’ll satisfy you, that’s for sure.
