There once was a window
that wasn't one at all
it looked out at nothing
and just hung on the wall

it showed what looked in it
but nothing looked out
it just repeated an image
of that there's no doubt

What am I? asked the window
if I'm not a window at all
Tell me when you look at me
as you stare at just the wall
