Careful out there ground hogs. It’s Insurrection Day, a quadrennial observance.


I never saw a televised riot, but a peaceful observance. On the ground reporting, but not getting a shot of this (four years ago)? It causes wonder. No speculation. But, worry that journalism has had better days.

I’ve read things today, frankly from the BBC, that make me wonder how words translated into actions. Bad day all the way around.

Back to my hidey-hole for six more weeks of whatever the hell this cold snap is.
