If snow we get, then home we'll sit, until the ice is gone. This winter storm may tax the wit to seek the waking dawn. We're way down South. Our ways to drive aren't suited for the snow. We'll hunker down to just survive, and warm the ways we know. 'Sbeen 30 years, since the snowicane dropped white stuff 'long the East. North Florida back then insane was the first of that cold beast. The weathermen call for "a history storm, that's not been quite this bad." "Dear Lord Above, through this alarm, give Hope and make us glad." I pray for safety for our cats, our plants, and people, too. I pray for gentle snow "at bats," and hopeful when it's through. We lived through Hurricane Helene, but still, her mark is known.
