Historic Snow

Historic snow, one for the books,
it covered all our yard.
The cold and wind, our breath they took
to make a thinking bard.

Historic snow now starts Day 2.
Will more come down this night?
Or will the freeze bring ice, that's due
to build our travel plight?

Historic snow's still on the ground,
but some today did melt.
Will more of snowing now abound,
before the half is telt?
