Newness

Newness of a frost-free day,
Newness of a year to live,
Newness of His Hope's display,
Newness of this heart to give.

The President in newness leads.
So many things of newness plans.
Restoring through his newness deeds
hope, the grace of newness stands.

Newness of a coffee cup,
Newness as a moment's peace,
Newness lifts the heart quite up,
Newness gains the mind's release.

The Hope of newness evermore,
Salvation's Gift is newness blest,
His Home is newness' lasting store
to give saved souls the newness rest.

Newness, Life's best chapter next,
Newness through this Earth to Home,
Newness, that each heart corrects,
Newness, His no more to roam.
