DeathBringers Update

I was going to write about my DeathBringers scriptwriting project in yesterday’s blog entry, but I couldn’t do that because there wasn’t anything to write about. After all, I didn’t get the chance to work on this project. At least, not physically. I did have some time to think about it.

I have been thinking a lot about this project for the last few weeks. After all, I have been spending most of my days off working on my WDC Short Story for this month, my Water Wars scriptwriting project, or what my brother and I had to do for that day. I haven’t had any time to work on this project. That may be a good thing, though.

I have decided to go back to the old format of twenty-five scenes for each Act. It’s true, I won’t be doing the novel connection this year for the October Prep Challenge, but I still might do it next year, and I won’t be ready to start writing these scripts until then, at the earliest.

I will be starting my DeathBringers scriptwriting project almost from scratch. The storylines are the same, and so are the scene numbers associated with them, but the sentence Story Outlines and the Scene Outlines don’t match up with the paragraph Story Outlines and Scene Outlines. I would have had to rewrite most of the Story Outlines anyway.

I probably would have also rewritten the sentence breakdowns, the Story Outlines, and the Scene Outlines. I wouldn’t have to rewrite them, but I probably would have. Sometimes I don’t update the sentence Act Breakdowns and the Outlines, but sometimes I do.

I had a lot that my brother and I had to accomplish today, but it didn’t take us that long to do it. As a result, I had most of the day to set up this project again. I accomplished writing the sentences part of this phase, but I didn’t get to the paragraph Story Outlines or the Scene Outlines because of The Cloud messing with me again.

I won’t let The Cloud win this fight. The Cloud can keep on trying to mess me up. It may slow me down a lot, but I will defeat whatever they throw at me. It may take me some time to do it, but I will figure out a way to defeat whatever they throw at me. At least, I hope that I can.
