Just Jesting

Just Jesting

“Just because I can,” he said
and there’s no denying that
his silence says more instead -
Jim is not jolly and fat.

Join me in jabbing the bear,
tease him till he hits us back.
When he sees that we don’t care,
he’ll shout like a jumping jack.
