         Another breath-taking, idyllic setting awaits in Litchfield, Connecticut. I espied the various and fascinating on the ground cottages, but the idea of a night spent thirty-five feet above the forest floor in a treehouse seemed magical. This is the stuff of fantasies and make-believe. Who wouldn't like to be above it all in a unique structure designed to compliment the very trees that support them? Witchy Yule Woman I could kiss you!

         The moment I set foot inside the suspended luxury treehouse I felt at home. The serenity, the tranquility is palpable. Nothing else exists or intrudes upon my senses. I hear the rustling of leaves and perhaps feel a gentle, rhythmic swaying.

         Wow! Double wow! Kudos to the architect and the designer(s). I might be suffering with amenities overload. Should I curl up with a book next to a blazing fire, losing myself in the story? Should I languish and savor a very long indulgent soak in the massive jacuzzi? Should I sit upon the perch of a balcony and permit the greenery to envelop me in its welcoming solitude? Where has this haven been all my life?

         This is THE place for a harried mother, or a frazzled Nanny fresh from a week-long camping expedition with a six-year old and a two year old. I can feel my equilibrium returning. Sometimes, we simply need a break from the hustle and bustle, the adrenaline, the constant harsh noise. I am so relaxed I could forgive the inevitable bird cacophony at dawn.
