Hurricane Erin

So, maybe it will, but probably it won't.
Yet, Wisdom doth prepare
to shelter safe beyond the thrill
of those who do not care.

The awful thing I see is this
the storm is causing sleep
to those trust forecasting's track,
but souls it may not keep.

'Tis too much like the storms of life,
that cause the sturdy youth
to run full-blast throughout his days,
while missing lasting truth.

When the Hurricane of God's Own Wrath
doth blow the youth's house down,
where will his frame of mind be at?
Where will his soul be found?

Some storms, like Erin, curse the fish,
but a warning they should give,
"If only in this life you're blessed,
consider how to live."
