To know you love, was to build passion
Timeless and out of time passion
You craved more and I confess
I was a stingy miser of minutes
Foolishly professing time would
Always be

Your lips parted to say all time
Is passing and your sultry voice
Velvety smooth oceans kissing sand
Gave me hours with you when it was
Just a few seconds of heart warmth
For you

Time has completed its journey
For us now and I wonder about
What you knew that I couldn’t
Comprehend in my egg-head world
Where technology gave us more but less of
Each other
