It's not been exciting...

Can't say it's been an exciting couple of days. I've been working, sleeping, eating, dishes, and laundry.

I've been trying to read, but it's been one chapter at a time and I've been trying to proofread my story, "Gifts," but time is not my friend right now. The GOOD news (I hope, crossing fingers) is I'm on an overtime shift tomorrow night on the radio, so I'm hoping it's fairly quiet and I can get some work done on Gifts!

The weather here in So. Cal has been sunny and in the 70's. It's actually quite nice.

I dug up all wilted plants in my never attempt to grow flowers and veggies. It was time. The weather was not good for them. I'm going to let the dirt sit a little, watered, stirred up and then I'll try marigolds again. I want to try some herbs like cilantro. I can grow cilantro decently. The lime tree seems to be well but it's not the season for limes. The lemon tree is growing lemons. My avocado sprouts are coming along, nice and tall but I can't see to get the bugs from eating the leaves. Sigh.... I'm a bad avocado mommy.
