My Room with a View

My Room with a View

I live in
a high-rise apartment
In an apartment block

Outside of Gimpo
One hour from
Downtown Seoul

I have a large TV
Coach, yoga mat
And exercise equipment
In my living room

I look out the balcony
At the view
Of the other apartment towers
Loomng outside

My window
On the 17th floor

I can look out
And see the water
Of the Fake Venice canal

17th floors beneath
My feet
Calling me to come
Take a walk

On the wild side
Along the canal
Lined with restaurants

Calling me to come down
And eat dinner
And have a drink
