"Deep in their roots, all flowers keep the light," said Theodore Roethke.
What do you think he meant and can this keeping the light in roots apply to human beings?

Congratulations on your virtual blogging adventure! HI! I found this on Bing through Pinterest from Instagram.com: "Have so much light that the plant grows toward you."

Maybe he (ROETHKE), equated light with the energy needed to grow.
Plants store energy and nourishment in their root systems.

Human root systems are, what they learn about life, as they age. It is the knowledge we draw on to make life decisions.

Store light for everyday living. Always keep enough light stored, so, as you walk, the path is illuminated.
