on Sunday, March 31, 2002 for excellence in Storyline, Emotions, and Character Development.
         The storyline held me spellbound from start to finish. The author's well chosen words and detailed scenes and surroundings created mental pictures throughout my reading.
         The emotions expressed by the characters are deep and heartfelt and go straight to the reader's heart.
         The characters are well defined in our minds and hearts both in the beginning and as the story progresses. We feel as if we know them; that they may even live next door to us or on our block.

         This was a marvelous pleasure to read, and time well spent.
