The ghouls have taken over Writing.Com! They've decorated our logo and turned
the lights out. Be careful, be aware... be alert!

We've heard some reports that Ghosties have taken up home in Writing.Com's
scrolling message system. Information is sketchy, but it seems as though they
are looking for attention and have some games to play. If you see a Ghostie in
the Scroll, click on them to see if you can be the first person to comfort them;
they may have some Gift Points for you!

If you have the IM Console open, some Ghosties may try to strike up a conversation
with you. Unlike their Scrolling friends, these Ghosties can not be soothed or
comforted. If they get the best of you, make them go away by clicking the "No
More Ghosties" link found in any of their messages. Don't be so hasty to do that,
though, since you never know what a Ghostie will say.

reduction in items to a maximum of 5. For full details please see:

The grace period will expire November 15th, 2003. At that time, Free
members with more than 5 items will have items over this limit purged.
