         This marvelous tale not only reminds us to pay attention to the little things in life, it does so with a love story of a different kind that will tug at your heart strings from start to finish.
         The author's wonderful attention to detail, her excellent use of language to match each character's style of speech, the vivid mental pictures she brings to mind with each and every scene, and the heartwarming story she weaves all combine to give you a reading experience you will never forget.
         These characters are built so well, I'll be the first to continue reading if the author should decide to expand this small town saga. Trust me. You don't want to miss this one. It's in my favorites and will stay there. I read it often and never tire of it, always crying at the wonderfully meaningful and heartwarming ending. If you have a heart, you will too.
