I am going to get myself fired. The DeptTopDog is out for a week and I didn't feel like working today. So, guess what? I'm not.

Bad WorkerDrone! BAD!

Couldn't leave without feeling the guilt. I told my boss that I needed to leave at 11a and take the day off. He said I didn't need to tell him, that he trusts me to be my own boss. (Could have something to do with being one weekend into the month and already 2/3 of the way to my goal for the month. Watch that song change the first time I miss goal.)

Nice of him and it helped me assuage my guilt. Stupid, stupid guilt. I'd go home but I have a million things to do that I'd normally have done on the weekend... long, long ago (4weeks) when I used to have weekends free.
