I've been thinking about creating an online journal for quite a while - and I've finally decided "Eh. Might as well roll with it."

Thus, wha ha! The Creation of Maeven's Almighty Journal!

Okay, we'll just skip the fanfare then . . .

Guess I'll start off by introducing myself. My penname is Maeven, but you may call me Helen. I'm an Asian-American (Chinese, to be more specific) teenager born and raised in the U.S. of A. As with all teenagers, I'm currently enslaved in the High School institution and embroiled in the horrific *gasp* College Application Process.

Anyways, I'm an innate worrier so between trying to keep up my grades, placating my parents, completing financial aid applications (All those numbers!! Gah! I'm not a freaking accountant!), and writing up college essays, it's enough to make a gal go, well, mad.

But until then, I just hope you, my dear reader, will enjoy my lil writings, notes, stories, and not-so-lil rants.
