| [13+] A child under 2 at a football game provides the entertainment. ♦♦♦♦♦ Matthew-the-menance ♦♦♦♦♦ Matthew runs in circles, checking where his father sits. Almost 2, he gives high fives to young men drinking beer, runs uphill and slides into his blanket, then wobbles off again. He tussles with his sister Katie, picks up clippings of grass, his shorts askew, his cowlick waving. In the gentle breeze, his father sits and waits for him to run beyond his steam. Matthew rests for a moment, but wakes to jump up and down. “Touchdown” he echoes the youth who dance, just another football clown. Kåre Enga Catalogue number: [161.538] 11 september 2004 |
