By the shores of the chancellery, It looks upon Fraser with its flags, The Watkins-Miller twins, New Blake, Twente and Watson. Here the lonely farmer breaks up sod, Where catalpa, maple, redbud, pine Have seen him washed by thunderstorms, The Prairie Formation commemorates in bronze, the passing of the grasslands, Once green, then brown, once white, then burnt, now green once more.
