Real Life vs. Virtual Life
10 Izzat 163 B.E. – September 17, 2006
My real life interferes with my virtual life,
in subtle ways that make me ponder my priorities.
The normal intrusions I can hand and laugh at,
but it’s the unusually or weird that cause me to rethink
my priorities.
The normal intrusions are the cats
(eight of them as a matter of fact),
food and other normal bodily functions,
weekly spiritual service, and the j-o-b
or looking for the j-o-b.
The weird and unusual interruption,
like the electricity suddenly going off
for no apparent or logical reason
(of if I had a TV that worked without electricity
maybe the new would give an acceptable excuse)
OK, this is as far as I’ve gotten on this poem. Not sure where to go from here, but maybe I’ll figure it out soon.
