Day by day, again

GROANNNNNN

The weather here the past few days has been cold, wet, and rainy. We had some really bad storms all day yesterday and had to do some disaster drills more than once to make sure our patients were safe.

Today, it's cold, windy and gloomy and I have hurt soooo bad all day long with my arthritis. I finally took a couple of pain pills a few hours ago just after leaving work and the pain is finally easing off. I tell you, this weather makes me absolutely miserable! I can decide if I want to cry or scream with frustration. But enough whining! I will survive this episode just like the rest but it makes me turn into a real bitch when it's this bad!

I talked to the administrator at our sister nursing home today and hopefully I will be working every other weekend for them. It would increase my income by over 1000K a month and I could use the money to pay off all these medical bills.

Daddy and my stepmother are both doing well right now which I am thankful for. I put Daddy on antibiotics Monday because he has had a bad cold for about a week and he started running fever and coughing all the time. I didn't want it turn into pneumonia so I told him to take them for a week. They are only once a day so I hope he takes them. The man is to damn stubborn he would argue a stump out of the ground! Anyway, I think he will at least take them for a few days. Probably stop them when he feels better.

I am working Thanksgiving since Daddy and Sheila will be going out to eat. It's just too much for them to cook a huge meal and that's fine with me. I would rather they not tire themselves out. They can enjoy a meal out and rest the remainder of the day. My sister will likely come to the nursing home and eat with me. She did last year and we eat free on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Since Betty does the holiday cooking it's a delicious meal! I'll take the Friday after off so it will fine to work on a holiday then get a three day weekend.

Well, that's it for now. My life is boring so there isn't really anything to write about. LOL
