This is my book of poetry that I hope to eventually publish with photos. |
| Shattered Rose-Colored Glasses Shards, Surround me. Some of them wound me, Deep, deep inside. I don't believe, In love. I will thank you. I don't believe, In me. I will thank you. I clung to childhood, So early lost. I clung to dolls, Wept in darkness, Heard you cry. Why did you, Stay? Unexplained. Why did you, Forsake me? Unexplained. You called me Daughter, But chose your lover, Over me, Abusing me. Bruises, Cover me, Inside completely, Unseen by you. Deep inflicted wounds. Scars, Left by your hands, Left by shattered rose-colored glasses, Left by broken dreams, Left by sorrow. |
