This is my book of poetry that I hope to eventually publish with photos. |
Do you realize how many times I've watched you, How many times you've haunted my darkest dreams? Whenever your hand brushes mine in passing, I think of you caressing my naked skin on satin sheets. Whenever our gazes meet and I feel the spark of lust, I envision us tangled in a sweaty game of twister. I'm not your lover, But I want to be. She holds you close whenever you're together, She giggles and runs her fingers through your hair. Whenever you kiss her, I am tempted to close my eyes, Tempted to imagine you kissing me as fiercely. Tempted to run her over with my car one night, Tempted to remove her from your arms forever. I'm not your lover, But I want to be. The shadows of night are deepening again, The winter chill is settling over the small town, I light a fire and sit before it, naked and dreaming, That you will stop by for something and see me at last. I am willing to steal you away from her and make you mine, I'll take you within me and you'll leave her forever behind. I'm not your lover, But I want to be. Sometimes the pain is too deep and harsh to deal with, Sometimes the pain only heightens my desire for you. One day I will seduce you as I dream of doing this night, And that day you will realize that I have always been the one, I have always been the one that would change your life, I have always been the one that could ultimately pleasure you. I'm not your lover, But I will be. |
