Once Upon A Shadow, Deep Inside A Dream

Snow 04-10-93

Winter snows came today,
Just when I thought they had gone away.
The wind was sharp and cold,
The white blanket took hold.
Shivering people walking by,
All the birds are too shocked to fly.
Puppies romping in the snow,
Grass poking up where people didn't mow.
Wearing shorts all day long,
Makes me want to laugh along,
As Old Man Winter tricks us again,
By sending us snow instead of rain.
