Closed for business, but be sure to check out my new place! |
It’s a habit to check all my email addresses first thing in the morning. Most of the time there’s one or two, and usually the standard junk. Still I love to see that little number next to the box, because it means someone may have been thinking of me. When I saw You’ve received an awardicon as the subject of one, I thought, “Huh? What item of mine would deserve such a thing?” I must admit my shock when I discovered which one:
It wasn’t so much because I thought it didn’t deserve it, but more along the timing. Here I’ve been struggling with whether or not to stay, and within days the group receives a prize along with the text: “For your God's Way Group - that it thrive til He comes back!” No words can express my gratitude to TexansBeatTheMiamiDolphinsBy3 for this, so I will simply say thank you! Change O’ Subject. For about a year now, I’ve been a subscriber to a monthly newsletter called Advanced Fiction Ezine written by Randy Ingermanson. He started a blog that focuses on writing fiction, and he’s been asking a lot of questions of fellow writers. His first entry asked why we write fiction. It got me to thinking. Why do you write? I’m not asking only fiction writers, but nonfiction and others. You can either answer here, or check out my new survey:
I want to know for very selfish reasons. Reading what motivates others to write motivates me. Thank ye! |
