Mad Season

Its been a depressing long time since my last blog entry and an even longer time between writing anything substantial. Work has been consuming in a way its not been for years, leaving me next to no free time. I have two new projects in the mix but both are in that initial stage and could easily slip into portfolio oblivion if I don't make some time to give them a chance to breathe. We are down to one computer in the house now so my ability to work on my writing has been severly compromised. I've got a boatload of excuses but basically, I'd got to get my butt back in gear and start working again. A good friend from college has been writing again on the side and is trying to leave the financial planning circuit to get into the PR field. He thinks this way be the ideal way to put his writing to official use. I envy his freedom to make what he loves the cornerstone of what he does for a living. There are not many of us out there doing what we love afterall. Justin is talented though, and I hope he can make a go of it for the rest of us.
