| Muse on the pop art of Sister Corita Sainted the signs that signal our distress, our sins, dear Sister. Stigmata of release: white on blues. Knight-gold on blue, a signature of times that rush that do not stop for us then fade into their glorified pasts. This Palm of the present: burden of our culture or a dash of hope we can somehow divine our future. Vibrations flash: Blue/white blue/gold white/blue white/red blue/white red/white gold/red like cars in a train, A then, is for Astrology, its white star-gems blue backed, below: do they see us roaring past-past-past, hear cold clacks of rails in rain. Heart of our beating, white now red that signal the source of our sins, dear Sister, our hope and redemption, O My God, our pain. © 2009 Kåre Enga [166.27] 2009-04-10 Note: based on 7 pieces (S,K,P,V,A,H,O) hung in the MAM, Missoula, MT. |
