| Collage after Hopper? Buds that bloom. Cocoons that open. A willow-weep now freed of winter's sorrow. Under lens we see our homes of wood, of sand and mud, beautiful or fallow. Revealed beneath the microscope our blind eyes open see the souls that dwell within as bones reveal their marrow, a drift of leaves and yellow wings tube petals of a red hot poker, abstract collage of favorite things we stole or borrowed. © 2009 Kåre Enga [166.37] 2009-04-18 Note: based on a collage that was based on a painting whose name I still do not know. |
