the years just roll on by

its his eyes!

4 months later





         “Aaaaaaaaaaargh, huh huh, argh”          


         “Push push, that’s it, I see his head, push harder, you’re almost there”


         “Aaarrrgh, o’god! Argh!”


         “Come on sweetie, you got it, you’e doing just fine, just push” her mom comforted touching her sweat drenched face, her dad and sister were also there holding her hand, not that it helped, knowing her mom went through this for her and Lina didn’t help either.  She felt like she was about to die


30 minutes later she held his baby in her arms and couldn’t help but cry


         “You look so much like him, you even have hs beautiful eyes” she stared at her baby, and just then, as if he understood her, as if he wanted to comfort her he smiled a toothless baby smile with a giggle, and couldn’t help but to fall in love with him again all over.  Lina scooted over, looking down at the newborn…


         “Sweetie I hate to tell you this but I’m pretty sure that’s your eyes he got” she frowned as if concentrating


         “You know you laughed just like that when you were born, didn’t cry too much, now Lina, she was the crier” her mom whispered as the baby strongly held on to her finger, “And so strong, my beautiful grandson”


         “You’re falling in love with him aren’t you?” her dad smiled at her


         “Oh I fell a long time ago…but yes”


         “I know, you guys coming into my life was the most memorable, important day of my life, and being able to be here  for the birth of my grandson…I love you sweetie” he kissed her forehead                    


         “I wish he was here, and I know, he would want to be here too” Lina said looking at her, she didn’t know how Lina had found out, but she had, and had kept her secret for her


         “I know” she also knew that if he ever found out he wouldn’t forgive her for it, Jose was the type of guy that would want to be there for the birth, his first crawl, walk, word, teeth.  Jose was the type of guy that would want to be there for his kid.


         “You look a hot mess by the way, and I got it all on Camera!” Ty grinned at her, she had forgotten that he was there and suddenly couldn’t help but to laugh as tears streamed down her eyes.
