Patience and Domestic Bliss

"It takes patience to appreciate domestic bliss; volatile spirits prefer unhappiness."
- George Santayana
This morning I don't think I have the patience to appreciate domestic or any other type of bliss. It isn't that I prefer unhappiness because I don't. It's just that this is one of those days that I want to get more accomplished and I don't want any interruptions. Of course, there are going to be interruptions simply because God has a sense of humor.
Whenever I don't want interruptions that's when they occur. When I have time to deal with them and other crises there are no interruptions or crises. However, the minute I decide I don't have time to deal with nonsense then I have to deal with it.
