Biography Tab

The Biography tab in your portfolio is a place where you can tell visitors a little about yourself. It contains three sections: Biography, Recommended Items, and New and Updated Items.

Biography

The Biography section appears at the top of the page and displays biographical and personal information, similar to what you might share on a social networking site. You can personalize your portfolio by adding a picture and filling out the optional demographic information you would like to share.

To set Access Restrictions and enter your biographical information, click the gear icon at the upper-right corner of the tab to open the manage area.

Add a Cover: The cover image must be E-rated (see Content Rating System (CRS)). Accepted file types are JPEG, GIF, and PNG. Animated images are not permitted.

Recommended Items

Recommended Items are items from your own portfolio or another member's portfolio that you want to highlight for visitors. Up to five items can be displayed in tile format in the middle area of the page.

To add or change these items, click the drop down arrow at the right end of the section title to open the tile management area.

From here you can:

• Enter an item ID to add a new item
• Delete an existing item ID
• Adjust the placement of item covers

To replace an item, first delete the existing item ID and then enter the new one. After typing the item ID, press the Enter key to update the tile.

A green check mark will appear beside the item ID field to indicate the item was added successfully, and the tile will update to display the item's information. If an error occurs, a message will appear above the item ID field. Correct the error and press Enter again to save the change.

Click the drop down arrow again to close the tile management area. Any unused tiles will not be displayed when the manage area is closed.

New and Updated Items
The New and Updated Items section appears at the bottom of the page and displays the five most recently created or modified items in your portfolio that the viewer has normal access to and that fall within the viewer's content rating filter setting.

Items with an NPL (Not Publicly Listed) content rating, or items set to Group-Only or Passkey access, are not included.

Click the Show More button below the list to display the next five qualifying items.
