morning verse or worse
Might as well post some poetry here, right? Here's an easy one I wrote yesterday morning before I got out of bed.


The Sentence

Flanked by cats
I linger in this downy counterpane
and try to diagram my life.
Lacking action verbs
I am propelled into the day
to search for predicates.
