Yesterday dreary and gray Today clear blue skies and crisp clean air Yesterday confusion and strife Today clarity and purpose Yesterday oppression Today freedom Yesterday the storm hit Waves of sunshine Followed by waves of wind and rain Mother Nature couldn’t make up her mind. Lightning’s power surged through the air Tornadoes stirred up trouble The adrenalin rush of a strong storm filled the air Today tranquil and serene The storm has passed The winds have lost their momentum The storm has moved on Clouds loom on the distant horizon Lightening still flashes Miles and miles away What a difference a day makes!
