Christmas 2013
Another Christmas has gone by. Can you believe it? My Birthday is Dec. 21 so I had my Birthday/Christmas party at my house. We had chicken, pizza, scalloped potatoes, barbeque beef, tuna salad, Dairy Queen Cake, shrimp cocktail, deviled eggs and baked beans. WE played Christmas music.

I got some nice gifts. I collect Barbies. I got Vintage Barbies, a Barbie and Midge Doll Case, Christmas Moose, blue sapphire ring, gift cards to Kohls, Chillis and Applebees, a Christmas bracelet, an home made owl scarf, a beautiful tea set from Macys, Red Door Cologne, Batman and Catwoman Barbies. Mom made fancy scarves that I gave out to my friends. I got my husband "Voyager" DVD's and a flannel shirt. I bought my mother a clutch purse and bracelet and Dairy Queen Salt and P:epper shakers. I gave her money to help her pay for her new sofa table. We bought our son a wolf painting that he wanted, candle holders and a curtain for his apartment in Illinois where he is doing his internship for his PHD. We bought our daughter-in-law a owl necklace, WalMart Card, a cats statue candle holder, {she and our son Jason share it}, a vintage Pooh scrapbook. and an owl cookie jar. Dad got money and clothes.

We had a turkey dinner at Mom's on Christmas. I am always sad to see Christmas leave. I love Christmas. With New Years coming, let's hope for a great one. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!
