Younger Self and Job

Prompt: Your younger self is about to be offered your first job. What would you tell your younger self knowing what you know now?

Work at the Nursing Home for 2 years. Save some money and go back to college. Get your Bachelors Degree because your Associates Of Arts Degree doesn't open many doors. Get your BA in Journalism {we didn't have Writing Degrees then!} and English. Teach school for a few years and maybe get a Journalism job or just write books. I would have had the knowledge after more college and maybe I could have written best sellers by now. If only. I didn't know I was this serious about writing. It was a hobby. College was a way to avoid the working world at that time and an excuse as to why I wasn't married. DUMB! If only..... Nursing isn't a job I would wish on anyone all their life. It was great for a few years but it isn't now and wasn't my true calling. Like Alice Cooper's song: "Teen-age Lament." This is my lament.
